Kalari is an unique form of martial arts because it is one of the oldest martial arts in the world.The fact that people used to train with swords, spears etc on the sandy shores of Malabar some 3.000 years ago for their self defense is an example of kalari being a heritage and part of the history of Kerala & thus kalari is an unique martial art
