Question

why is Kelvin is considered as the SI unit of temperature? why we are not taking the Celsius scale as SI unit?

Answer

✒️ William Kelvin represented this temperature as zero kelvin on his scale which is equivalent to -273.15 degrees on the celsius scale. The simple answer is NO, because William Kelvin decided to place the zero on his scale as the lowest temperature possible. The zero on the kelvin scale represents the Absolute Zero.

the Kelvin unit is not expressed by degrees such as Celsius and Farenheit . it is used by itself to describe the temperature
