Thought kite doesn't have all of its sides equal, it's diagnols are perpendicular. For example, square's and rhombus's sides are equal and their diagnols are perpendicular, but rectangle's, trapezium's sides aren't equal but their diagnols are not perpendicular. But kite is a special quadrilateral where it's sides aren't equal and their diagnols are perpendicular.
It's properties are:
- angle properties: 1 pair of opposite angles are equal and all angles add up to 360 degrees.
- side properties: adjacent sides are equal, opposite sides are not equal.
- diagnol properties: diagnols are perpendicular and 1 diagnol bisects

a kite is a quadrilateral in which two disjoint pairs of consecutive sides are congruent (disjoint pairs mean that one side can't be used in both figure the opposite angle at) the end point of the cross diagonal are congruent angle
