Rock hasn’t seen anything new in 10 years for the most part. They had a new sound and a very catchy tune to their music. Kurt made his music that way on purpose so people could remember it easily. He wanted his songs to be like nursery rhymes. From the first time they were played on mtv it gave something different to the kids that had no clue they even wanted something different.
