Lakes are really a natural ecosystem because it possess every kind of life in it.
The lake holds both abiotic and biotic compounds in it and provide a valid environment to get utilized by each other.
Abiotic compounds like water, soil and air provides life to the biotics like plants, aquatic animals, algae, amphibians and sometime terrestrial animals too.
Both the biotic and abiotic compounds are dependent of each other where there is no need for a human interaction for their life to thrive.
