Explanation:

Land transport refers to the use of roads and railways. Land transport is considered a country's lifeline. Vehicles, trains, and buses cay people and goods from one place to another regardless of one's social status. Land transport can be accessible both in hilly, plain areas as well as remote, landlocked villages. Land transport also offers door to door services. For example, India's railroad is the fourth largest in the world hence boosting the land transport system by making most of the country accessible to all. Trains are convenient for transporting bulky and fragile things over long distances at a cheaper cost compared to air transport.
