latent heat of vaporization is greater than fusion as in fusion the solid melts and therefore can be called melting point and during the time of vaporization we may call it as boiling point and always boiling point temp is more than melting point temp therefore the latent heat of vaporization is more as during vaporisation or boiling it needs mor temp then at fusion
