Why is left kidney is higher in human

The left kidney is higher in humans because liver is located top of the right kidney.so liver requires space.hence left kidney is higher.

The left kidney is slightly higher than the right kidney due to the liver . The liver is located on the top of right kidney. So, left kidney is higher and right kidney is lower than right kidney.
