Why is lenght of small intestine is longer in herbivores and shorter in carnivorous?

Herbivores eat leaves and hence they need to digest cellulose since it is tough for them to digest it they have a longer small intestine so as to properly absorb nutrients

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
