Why is light colourless even when it is a combination of 7 colours ? ​

When there is 7 colors in the sky, i.e. Rainbow, the light is still colorless because the color we see is not really the color of light rather it is the reflection of sun rays that reflect with the clouds after rain. So, there is not chance in which light can be called colored. It acts mostly like a prism.
