Let me explain, matter is anything that has mass and matter of any kind ( solid, liquid, gas etc) are composed of smaller particles called atoms and even at its base level atoms are composed of protons, neutrons and electrons ( charged particles) . It is perhaps not a surprise that we know that electrons are one of the primary resources of electricity around the world.
