Why is lpg considered a better fuel than coal for cooking purposes ? ( think about smoke )

Coal releases harmful toxic gases on burning which is harmful for living things where as log does not form harmful gas nor it leave solid resedue after burning, *It has high calorific value, *Its ignition point is very low, *It burns at moderate rate and its ignition is under control by using knob, *It is easy to store. That is why lpg is considered over coal
