LPG or Liquified Petroleum Gas is only fossil fuel rather than kerosene and and many more, which dies not produce smoke during burning. This is the reason behind preference of more LPG than kerosene or other fossil fuels.

LPG burns completely and has a blue flame whereas Kerosene Oil does not burn completely and has a yellow flame. Kerosene releases carbon particles along with combustion. That is why, LPG is better than kerosene oil. And also, LPG is a cleaner fuel in comparison
