LPG is known as ideal fuel because
It has proper ignition temperature.
it is easy available in markets
it does not release any harmful gases.
it have higher calorif value than wood,coal etc.

SAMIKSHAAMBRE: this answer is good one......but one more point should included that their is no residue left after burning...........
Lunaticboyrk: Hmm.....sahi pakde h....

\textbf{\underline{Following\;Reasons}}

• LPG burns with a smokeless blue flame and doesn't leave any ash behind. So, it produces no emission. LPG, though, is a safe coal.

• Compared with other rising fuels LPG has a high calorific value. The LPG calorific value is 50 kj g^(-1) which is when 1 g of LPG is burned, heat equal to 50kj energy is produced. The cost per unit of heat energy shows that LPG is cheaper than other domestic fuel widely used.

• LPG can be treated quickly, and can be ignited almost instantly.
