your answer
Explanation:
India has majoritarian govt. but with some regulations
we have 245 seats in rajya sabha
in which 233 elected from states and ut but 12 elected by President majorly from miniorites and in lok sabha 552 in constitution
in which 33 percent resereved for miniorites and 1/4th of seats for women
qndjif no party claims majority then coalition government is formed and President elects the representative for prime minister
and certainly our constitution respects and protects the rights of miniorites not commenting on today's scenario it's completely wrong and violation of constitution by the government. but theoretically are country is a federal democracy and doesn't support a majoritarian gov.
some examples of majoritarian govt. Usa and Canada as they are representative Democracy also called indirect democracy. as the representatives are not elected by citizens of the country rather elected by college (group of people in parliament).
