Answer:

Tube well is a type of water well in which a long pipe is bored deep into the soil. It lifts up the water for irrigation. But in many residential areas tube well are prohibited this is because it loosens the soil layers are and subsides the land. It also lowers the water table and thus local resident will feel difficulty in the supply of water.Then in residential areas the level of water table is low due to which their construction is not possible.
