why is melting of wax considered as a physical change

first of all what are chemical and physical changes...

PHYSICAL CHANGE - the change which is reversible is called physical change.

CHEMICAL CHANGE - the change which is irreversible is called chemical change.

melting of wax is reversible, as if we Melt it. it will still remain wax only there will be change in size and shape and may be a loss of small amount of wax. but we can reshape it and it will be wax only. so it's reversible and considered as a physical change.

but burning of it's wick is chemical change..
