because plant always grow and merismetic tissue are able in cell division for growing so it found in plant .

7viki: But why only in plants and not in animals?
Aditya200411007: that a good question i don't know more biology but i study more math and physics
Aarchi011: see my answer i answed to it.
Aarchi011: i edited it
Aditya200411007: ok good night aarchi

hey mate

here is ur answer

why meristametic tissue is found in plant ???

__Meristematic cells give rise to various organs of a plant and are responsible for growth.

there are three
types of meristametic tissue

1) i) Apical meristem:

These are found at the apices or growing points of root and shoot and bring about increase in length. It includes both pro-meristem as well as primary meristem.

2)ii) Intercalary meristem:

It lies between the region of permanent tissues and is considered| as a part of primary meristem which has become detached due to formation of intermediate permanent tissues. It is found either at the base of leaf e.g. Pinus or at the base of internodes e.g. grasses.

3)iii) Lateral Meristem:

These are arranged parallel to the sides of origin and normally divide periclinally or radially and give rise to secondary permanent tissues. These increase the thickness of the plant part.

hope it helps u and pls mark it as the brainliest

why they r found only in plant

because
tissues aren’t found in plant cells, plant tissues are made of meristematic cells. These new cells don’t yet have a function (they are undifferentiated) and are anywhere in a plant where growth occurs. They become roots, stems or flowers depending on their location and the chemical signals they receive. Apical meristematic tissue is in roots and shoots and causes plants to grow in height and length. Basal meristematic tissue is within mature plant tissue and allows growth at the base (like grass still growing after the top is cut off) and the lateral growth in plants (growth in diameter) happens through lateral meristematic tissue.

7viki: But could you please help??
Aarchi011: yes
Aarchi011: which help u want
7viki: What is unique characteristic feature of meristem
Aarchi011: i m busy now .i will tell u later
7viki: No problem
Aarchi011: hmm
Aarchi011: ur class
7viki: 9th grade
Aarchi011: ok
