NASA uses gold foil to protect the astronauts in the space shuttles, from harmful solar radiation (Sun light).

Now think about this, We've mined pounds of gold out of the earth's crust every year, for thousands of years. Wouldn't you think by now, the earth's mantle & core gets heated up by solar radiation, way more now, then ever before? How would that heat be dissipated?

What effects would the heat have on air pressure? Ever wonder why a golf ball has dimples?

Short answer is, It Speeds Up the Air Around the sphere.... Which makes the ball fly true.

NOW, think about this: we have cleared forests, built tall ridge like buildings, plus dug & mined dimples... Wouldn't you think that would change the wind's speed, pressure, & temperature too?
