Mitochondria are tiny organelles inside cells that are involved in releasing energy from food. This process is known as cellular respiration. It is for this reason that mitochondria are often referred to as the powerhouses of the cell.

•Mitochondria is double membraned cell organelle.
•Mitochondria, Chloroplast and nucleus though contains dna
•Mitochondria contains single double stranded DNA
•As, Human needs energy to do work, Thus energy is stored in the form of ATP in human body
•For the formation of ATP, Respiration process occurs which mainly concerns with the uptake of O2.
•ATP fromation occurs in presence of O2 (Aerobic respiration) in an cell organelle
•Here to note that, organelle which i discussed above is \bf{Mitochondria}.
•As, Mitochondria is the organelle in which ATP formation occurs so called as \bf{Power\:House\:Of\:Cell}.
