Why is mosaic vision with less resolution seen in cockroaches? ​

Answer:

Cockroaches have compound eye which is made up of upto 2000 units of small eyes called as ommatidia. As a result of so many different units cockroach revives saveral images at a time and therefore it creates a mosaic vision which is with less resolution but high sensitivity.
