<b>The Peninsula Plateau have slope area. Some of the river which are flowing from the Arabian Sea to the East are draining into the Bay Of Bengal because of that sloppy area which are located in the East of our country.

Most of the Peninsular Rivers drain into the Bay of Bengal because:

1. The Eastern Ghats are lower than the Western Ghats and moreover the Eastern Ghats are discontinuous providing the rivers an easy passage to the Bay of Bengal.

2. The Deccan Plateau slopes towards the east.
