Consumption of mother's milk is safety for the newborn because ot the following reasons :

(1) Mother's milk is the perfect food for babies in the first months of their lives. With the exception of vitamin D,. etc contains all the nutrients an infant needs.

(2) Mother's milk supplies antibodies [IgA] that protect he baby's body organs fromn infections. Mother's milk provides immunity and also help in maturition ot the infants immune system which are lacking in ordinary milk. Natural acquired passive immunity is obtained only through mother's milk.

(3) Feeding of mother's milk reduces the risk of overweight and obesity during childhood.

(4) It also creates the bond between mother and child.
