Why is mr.tulliver not satisfied with the school where Tom is presently studying?

Mr Tulliver wants Tom to become a lawyer. In the school Tom is currently studying, he probably cannot be a lawyer. He might become a miller or a farmer. Mr Tulliver wants tom to get the best education so that he would conquer in his career as a lawyer. But the school doesn’t maintain very good standards. So Tulliver was unsatisfied.
