why is (n-1)100 taken here in place of Sn.pls explain with proper solution. if you make me to understand this problem clearly i will definitely brainliest your answer .pls help..,........​

Look, here we have found that after some time, the police caught thief

So, the speed of the police is equal to the speed of the thief at that point. So, sn is expanded and is equated to the speed of the thief which is (n-1)100
