Hy there,
NaF, or Sodium fluoride is an anticoagulant, it prevents the clotting of blood in the tube. It is also usually coated on the walls of the test-tube to prevent clotting of blood. This helps in storage of blood for a long duration.
Other anticoagulants are- Acid citrate dextrose, EDTA, etc.
