Why is NaOH+HCl = NaCl

HCl reacts with NaOH to form NaCl(sodium chloride- common salt) an H2O molecule is released. ... This is because both NaOH and HCl are strong base and acid (respectively) and when you dissolve either in water, their ions will dissociate completely.
