natural fibre take a lot of man power for it's production. eg. to make cotton thread : the farmers first grow cotton crops, then it goes to industries for further processing and then we obtain cotton thread.
whereas, artificial fibres are made by synthesing chemicals.
this is why they are cheaper than natural fibres.
