It is necessary to have double circulation of Blood through heart. This is because there must be separartion of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
As we are warm blooded organisms so we need to maintain our body temperature and for maintaining body temperature we need oxygenated blood. As oxygenated blood also supply more oxygen to the organs to meet high energy.
