Neuroendocrine System
The neuroendocrine system is a complex regulatory mechanism that includes the hypothalamus, the pituitary and its connections to the brain, and extrahypothalamic regions.

The endocrine system and the nervous system are so closely associated that they are collectively called the neuroendocrine system. Neural control centers in the brain control endocrine glands. ... Suspended from the hypothalamus by a thin stalk is the pituitary gland.

The Brain and our endocine system (harmonal system) together acts to make a correct response.

For an example, if you are in danger then are Brain stimulates Adrenal glands to secrete Adrenaline harmone that fastens blood circulation, respiration and make liver to put more glucose into blood which produces large amount of energy and makes us to take actions quickly.

Hence from this we can conclude that our both systems works together to help us in making response to stimuli and therefore we call them together as Neuro - Endocrine System.
