Athar3v: Because the 78% of air consists the nitrogen. In rainy season in lightning the nitrogen compound combines with rain drops and mix in soil. The Plant needs the nitogen for growth so Roots absorb this Nitogen Compound and sent to whole plants. As we eat plants the nitogen comes in our body soo like this the chain continous
