because non-biodegradable waste doesn't break down easily, if not disposed of properly, it can cause pollution, block drains and harms animals. It's better for the environment if we recycle both biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials.

Hope this helps☺️

Answer:

Non-biodegradable such as plastics are harmful to nature because, humans burn wastes (which should not be done) which include some plastics such as plastic bags, plastic water bottles, etc.

The plastics due to the heat melts releasing methane gas to the atmosphere (1) It pollutes the air. The plastics take decade to breakdown (2) It pollutes the soil. the last but not least Living creatures in the soil such as ant or earthworms (even bacteria!) try to breakdown so even some eat them like cows and goats, and the plastic stuck up in their throat which causes them to death! (3) Plastics not only harms nature but living animals too well including us its said by a scientific study that in the plastic water bottles we drink water in not good for heath.

Okay not only plastics are non biodegradable.. also Nuclear Wastes,  more than 2,000 metric tons of radioactive waste is disposed from the factory in India itself *then Imagine the world*.

Many kids, animals have died by drinking nuclear waste thrown into the rivers lakes ponds....

Here are seven ways you can make a difference, starting today-

  • Reduce Your Use of Single-Use Plastics. Like rather than taking a plastic bag and going for shopping use a paper one instead.
  • Recycle Properly.
  • Participate In (or Organize) a Beach or River Cleanup.
  • Support Bans.
  • Avoid Products Containing Microbeads.
  • Spread the Word. *SAY NO TO PLASTICS*
  • Support Organizations Addressing Plastic Pollution.

If u take these seriously u may change the world..

hope it helps you :)..
