The undefined nuclear region of prokaryotes are also known as NUCLEOID which means similar to nucleus. It is present as there is no nuclear membrane covering in the nuclear region.It is an irregularly shaped region within prokaryotic cells that contains all or most of the genetic material, called genophore eg.....

bro as no nuclear memebrane is present so nuclear regiin which is present in the form of an undefined mass which is what we called nucleiod so i think thata the reason behined the poor nuclear region in prokaryotes !
