nylon is very strong fibre versatile and hard wearing. fibre thay can be silky thin or bulky. it is often used with many fibres to provide added stretch and durability . Nylon is a component in almost all modern socks , whether as a coating on natural fibres or as a strengthening or stretching material

Nylon is used in making socks because they are elastic and have more strength. And it does not absorb water it absorbs only less water.It is light in weight.It is wrinkle free fabric.It is very easy to wash.So nylon is used in making socks.
