Hellen Keller described that the sea or the ocean made her learn the power of nature. She learned to respect it when it was on a sailing trip with her teacher Anne Sullivan.
She traveled in a boat to places like Bedford Basin etc. She recalls one experience when she watches the race between the boats from some of the warships but when they were on their way back, a black cloud threatened.
