Ocean water is not fit for human use due to the high contents of salts of which some can be even lethal for us as there are many kinds of dissolved salts present.

The large amounts of salts can cause dehydration if used for drinking.

Humans are also polluting these waters by dumping huge quantities of wastes like plastics,factory wastes,toxic materials etc which is making it even more difficult for usage.

Many countries are using desalination processes to utilize oceanic water but it is hugely expensive.
