If we go on high the pressure of the air gradually decreases

Explanation :-

We know that Pressure is more towards earth and pressure is less. therefore when we climb up on the hill the percentage of pressure goes decrease then our body tries to equalise pressure.

Therefore the applied force on our ear drums affect and hence we unable to hear properly.
