Why is only 0.03 % of the Earth’s water available to us?​

fresh water makes up only 1 percent of all the water and from that only about 0.03 percent is used by humans since most of water us trapped in glaciers and snow fields which are not easily accessible.

fresh water is only 1% in the earth and 0.03% is only available to us as the rest is in snow or have formed into glaciers
