Answer:

Freshwater makes up a very small fraction of all water on the planet. While nearly 70 percent of the world is covered by water, only 2.5 percent of it is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Even then, just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields.

Explanation:

its actually 2%

80percent or 70 percent is in seas, oceans, lakes, rivers etc

and other 10 percent is in glaciers

its all water but the safe water or pure drinking water which we can use and drink

is only 2%

in seas and oceans its too saline to be used and in other water bodies its polluted either due to factory waste, chemicals or natural organisms

presence like algae,fish,crocodiles,turtle etc

and the process of getting pure water from our current sources takes long time to reach our homes.

so we should not waste the portable (drinking water)

and we should use it accordingly and carefully to our needs .

as only 2% of all water is available for humanity

to drink
