why is only tungsten is used in bulbnot other metal ? why???what do you mean by the term fuse in current wire

tungsten has a very high melting point if its used as a fuse wire win it will not melt even when large amount of current is passed through it and the appearances will be damaged.

because it has high melting point , it have high fleribility and it is having low rate of evaporation at high temperature
