Hii dear here is your answer

Poachers prey on tigers because of their coats. ... Trade in tiger parts has been banned since 1975 under CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). The tiger's natural habitat is also at risk from deforestation.

Overhunting and poaching a threat to biodiversity beacuse when one species of animals is targeted and killed the population of the species drastically declines. As the parent species decreases, other species that rely on that species also suffer, destroying the balance of the ecosystem and ultimaley demolishing the biodiversity in that area.

For example, when deers are heavily hunted, the lives of many animals are t risk. With less deers in the area, predators such as wolves lose their main source of food, causing their population to decrease. Also with less deer, natural fertilization is limited affecting the production of plants, affecting the hebivours of the area.

Hope this helps.
