Oxygen is called as a gas. Because:-

→It's molecules are randomly arranged. So,they move freely.

→It has neither fixed shape nor fixed volume.

→It is compressible.

So, as it has properties of gas, it is considered as a gas.

•Hope it helps•

oxygen is called a gas because intermolucles in oxygen are weak Van der walls which causes it to exist a gas.
