why is ozone layer getting depletend write the equation for the fomation of ozone​

Ozone is depleted by CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons). CFCs rise in the stratosphere where they're eventually broken down by Ultraviolet radiation (U.V.) from the Sun. This causes them to release free chlorine who reacts with oxygen leading to depletion of Ozone. The equations are given below that are balanced :-

• Cl + O3 -------> ClO + O2 (step 1)
• ClO + O --------> Cl+O2 (step 2)
• O3 + O ---------> 2O2 (End result)
