Why is pancreas called a ‘dual function’ gland? Write the names of its hormones.
Answer:
Pancreas is an exocrine gland as well as an endocrine gland. Exocrine part of the gland secretes digestive enzymes and the endocrine part (Langerhan’s cells) produce hormones.
