Why is parallel arrangement used in domestic

Heya!

We prefer parallel arrangement for domestic use instead of series as appliances can be put independently to each other. Also, if one appliance gets damaged it won't affect the working of other appliance, which may not be the case in series arrangement.

Also, Each circuit will have the same potential difference (Connected in parallel) Thus each appliance will work in a constant voltage.

Hope it helpsĀ

this is also correct answer but the verified answer is more appreciable

Ans. In parallel arrangement, total resistance of the circuit is less than arithmetic sum of resistors in the wiring. This helps in reducing the load on the wiring. In parallel arrangement, each appliance can have its independent switch. Fault in one section is not going to affect any other section. These advantages make parallel arrangement ideal of

domestic wiring.
