1) If one appliance stops working it will not hamper working of other appliances
2) equivalent resistance is less than individual resistance so current can flow easily

Ans. In parallel arrangement, total resistance of the circuit is less than arithmetic sum of resistors in the wiring. This helps in reducing the load on the wiring. In parallel arrangement, each appliance can have its independent switch. Fault in one section is not going to affect any other section. These advantages make parallel arrangement ideal of
