The Indian parliament, comprising the elected representatives of people, makes laws for the country. Prime Minister and his council of minister are answerable to the legislature. If people are not satisfied with the governments policy or function they can change it by passing a vote of no confidence. Against it to do their elected representatives. On the other hand, if they are satisfied with the policies and functioning of the government they can vote in favour of it in the next general elections., the participation of people in the decision making and the consent of citizens are the two important element of the parliamentary form of government in India
