Hey dude... So I see ur question.... N well that has been my question too for a long time.... N finally I was well able to seek the answer n I'll try to help ya too....


Main reasons are....

Participating let's you know your hidden talents... U may be good at something that u never even tried RO do....

Also to win a competition it's necessary to have an experience of the same... All of us r not born with good brains we need to develop them....


Thirdly participating enhances ur interest...

Lastly if u loose in a competition it wud be a healthy spirit u would see in urselg when u go next time for such competitions...
