If a country has petroleum fields...then it can export petroleum to other countries and gain wealth...thus it is like gold for the country...since it is black it is called Black gold ...Dubai is rich just because of its big petroleum stores!!!!50 years ago it was not that rich...but now Dubai is a leading exporter of crude oil
