Photosynthesis is the example of endothermic chemical reaction.
In this process plant uses the energy from the sun to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. This reaction required 15MJ of energy (sunlight) of every kilogram of glucose that is produced.

Photosynthesis is an endothermic reaction because sunlight is being absorbed during the reaction and the definition suggests that in a reaction if heat is being absorbed it is termed as an endothermic reaction...............
